About Black Golfers' Weekend
Black Golfers Weekend is a collective raising awareness of the social, economic, and intellectual interests of African Americans through golf. We celebrate the past, present, and future of African-American players and enthusiasts within the sport. The Weekend unites an underrepresented group of people who have historically been excluded from the game. Our partnerships are essential to our collective success and are rooted in programs that are uniquely aligned with our mission. Black Golfers' Weekend welcomes like-minded people who believe in our values. Founded by Amy Williams and Co-founded by Steven Johnson.
Black Golfers Weekend. Inc. is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization based in Washington, DC.
About The Youth Swing Clinic
Each year, Black Golfers' Weekend will continue to create a space for families to participate at little to no cost in our annual youth swing clinic. The 2-hour introduction to the principles and fundamentals of the game will highlight young entrepreneurs between the ages of 10 and 18 in collaboration with Local Grant Partners to provide funding, scholarships, and business resources through golf. Founded by Steven Johnson.
